Two former shops knocked together give The Abbeville its warren of small, interconnecting rooms, which somehow feels very right for a neighbourhood pub this resolutely local. It sits on a residential stretch that feels nothing like nearby Clapham High Street, and the regulars would probably prefer to keep it that way. Two bars, an open kitchen at the back, and a skylight doing its best against the gloom.
