    A former bank building in Karaköy's financial district, once where money was counted and now where it's spent on rather good hotel rooms. The Bank is a boutique hotel with Michelin's one Key distinction, and it earns the attention: a local architect and designer worked the bones of the building into something smart and comfortable, with city views from the upper floors that take in a generous slice of Istanbul.
