The name comes from a long-lost family house in Burton on Trent, and the brewing heritage goes back centuries, which is a lot of backstory for a gastropub on Kensington Church Street. Cask ales anchor the offer, and the kitchen builds a daily-changing menu around simple, seasonal British cooking with classical European touches.
