    A rooftop pool heated against the desert night, with cocktails and small plates at the poolside bar, is a reasonable argument for booking a room. The Camby is a design-forward hotel in Phoenix's Biltmore District, where rooms face either the city grid or the mountains depending on your preference. Downstairs there's a full dining room and a bar serving spiked teas for surviving the afternoon heat with dignity.
