A village pub, a chip shop, a post office, and a working farm walk into a boutique hotel. That's more or less what Michael and Xochi Birch have assembled in a sleepy North Devon village, spreading their accommodations across shop rooms styled in 1940s retro and freestanding cottages that sleep up to eight. The Farmers Arms anchors it all with a seriously sourced modern pub menu. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
