A Victorian pub in Paddington converted into a 14-room hotel by Josh Niland, the scale-to-tail seafood chef. Rooms run to claw-foot tubs, marble fireplaces, and hand-painted wallpaper, all in the kind of grey-and-brown palette that signals someone took interiors seriously. Breakfast is guests-only and involves marron on scrambled eggs. The fish-fat soap in the bathroom is, somehow, a reasonable thing to find here.
