A London-born hotel brand that moved into an 18th-century mansion in the 2nd arrondissement and somehow made it feel inevitable. The rooms, designed by Humbert & Poyet, run from genuinely compact to merely snug, and are priced accordingly for Paris. The public spaces do the heavy lifting: a modern French restaurant, a Moroccan-inflected bar, and a natural wine spot share the ground floor, so there's always a reason to linger downstairs.
