A neo-Georgian facade in a quiet, largely residential stretch just north of Brisbane's CBD gives The Inchcolm the look of something that's been around forever, which is more or less the point. It's a luxury boutique hotel with a thoroughly modern interior that leans into the retro without being camp about it. The Michelin Guide has it among its selected hotels, and the intimate scale makes it feel less like checking in and more like borrowing a very elegant friend's townhouse.
