Architect Duangrit Bunnag designed this hillside villa resort so the bedrooms cantilever into open air, with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides and a private pool attached to every unit. The villas climb above a quiet stretch of Kamala Beach, and the hardwood interiors are spare enough that the bay views do most of the decorating. Two restaurants, a large spa, and a Sky Lounge round things out for guests who do occasionally come indoors.
