The Rebel Lounge is a small, divey rock club on Indian School Road that sits on the bones of the Mason Jar, Phoenix's old-school punk institution. The room is cramped and no-frills, which is exactly the point: the energy comes from whatever band is crammed onto the stage, local or touring, punk or otherwise. Phoenix New Times has named it the city's top music venue, and the crowd tends to look like they actually mean it.
