    Floor-to-ceiling windows, white marble, and a lobby done in purples, blacks, and grays set the register at this luxury hotel on Ratchadamri. The St. Regis Bangkok holds a Forbes Four Star, and the rooms carry the same patterned, high-ceilinged seriousness as the public spaces. By evening the place fills with Bangkok's dressed-up crowd angling for dinner reservations, which gives the whole thing a satisfying sense of occasion.
