    Six acres of gardens and lotus ponds in the middle of Bangkok's central business district, which sounds impossible until you're actually standing in one of the courtyards. This Forbes Four Star hotel trades the city's cheerful mayhem for a quieter frequency, with an infinity pool, a spa, and several restaurants on site. The surrounding streets are still close enough that the tuk tuks feel optional rather than unavoidable.
