Factory tiles, gunmetal grey walls, and mismatched furniture mark this Kennington gastropub as a thoroughly gastrofied old boozer, and it wears the look without apology. The open kitchen and chalkboard menus do their duty, the local young professionals fill it on the way home most evenings, and the whole thing hums along exactly as a neighborhood pub should without making a fuss about it.
