    Staff uniforms at this Shibuya design hotel are sewn from textile offcuts salvaged off the local fashion industry's cutting-room floor, which tells you most of what you need to know about the place's ethos. Guest bikes are rescued abandoned ones, restored by local mechanics; the interiors run on reclaimed wood and vintage finds. The crowd skews young and effortlessly put-together, the way Shibuya crowds tend to.
