An old mill wheel and millstone still sit in the dining room of this fine dining restaurant in central Aosta, which somehow reads less "museum piece" and more mountain refuge. The kitchen holds a Michelin star and leans into Aosta Valley tradition with a quietly modern hand, pulling in a few Alpine French ideas along the way. The wine cellar runs to around 300 labels, with a considered spread of famous houses and small producers.
