    A hotel attached to the world's largest shopping mall that somehow keeps its cool about it. The Burj Khalifa fills most room windows, an air-conditioned bridge connects directly to Dubai Mall, and the interiors go deliberately the other way: blond wood, clean lines, colorful art where the neighborhood would have put gold leaf. The Flo Pool Bar has the Khalifa as a backdrop, which is either very relaxing or very distracting, depending on you.
