Pasta fills almost every table here, and that's not an accident. Vina Enoteca is an Italian restaurant with a bar tucked into a Palo Alto medical complex, which sounds uninspiring until you're inside the high-ceilinged, arch-lined room with soft leather chairs and a plate of house-made tagliatelle in front of you. The kitchen grows much of its produce at Stanford's farm down the road, and the pasta, pizza, and bread are all made in-house.
