    Five linked historic buildings in Las Letras, Madrid's old literary quarter, were stitched together into this contemporary hotel without losing the bones of what was already there. Rooms run spacious by Madrid standards, and the bar spills onto a terrace worth knowing about. The Michelin Guide selects it among its recommended hotels, which in a neighborhood this walkable to everything puts it in useful company.
