The wine list runs to 300 bottles, which makes sense once you know this place started as a wine shop. It has since grown into a family-run Italian trattoria where the pasta is made fresh and the carbonara arrives properly creamy, no corners cut. The room is classic and unhurried, and the tiramisu comes out on a platter at the table, which feels like the right way to end things.
