A sign outside the kitchen reads "We are Ladies and Gentlemen Serving Ladies and Gentlemen," and the room makes good on it, warm and unhurried in a way that Helsinki restaurants sometimes forget to be. This is a classic European restaurant where the cooking leans traditional but isn't afraid of a modern turn, and the regulars who fill it clearly know something. The set lunch is the move if you're watching the bill.
