    A 259-room hotel in Chengdu's Gaoxin District that earns its floor-to-ceiling windows by putting them to real use: suites get freestanding soaking tubs with full city views, and the standard rooms get the same wide-window treatment at a friendlier price. Two restaurants sit up on the 22nd and 23rd floors, one with exposed brick and lake views, the other serving Sichuan cuisine with private dining rooms and city panoramas that shift as the day goes on.
