A government-run hostel complex on the Chai Wan MTR line that somehow ended up with artist-designed rooms and actual style. Y-Loft is a budget boutique hotel aimed at students and younger travelers, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly, but the spartan-by-luxury standards setup punches well above its hostel neighbors. The Michelin Guide has taken notice, which is not something most government-operated youth developments can say.
