Zapatilla Island

Two uninhabited islands inside a national marine park in Bocas del Toro, Zapatilla made the World's 50 Best Beaches list, and the ranking makes sense the moment you arrive. Protected status has kept development off entirely, so what you get is white sand, dense jungle canopy for shade, and coral reef close enough to snorkel without much effort. The lack of a resort or beach bar is the whole point.
