Zum Pflugstein
Swiss German
A half-timbered house that's been around forever sits 550 meters above the lake, named for the giant glacial boulder resting in the hillside above it. Inside, wood paneling and a fireplace room do the Swiss-inn thing without apology; in summer, the plane-tree terrace is where you want to be. The kitchen runs classic regional cooking, seasonal and à la carte, and the boiled beef has a following. Michelin gives it a Bib Gourmand.
