The Best Dessert Shops in Seattle, by the Record

The best dessert shops in Seattle, by the professional record: The Infatuation and Seattle Met have both weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Family Donut comes out on top.

Chè Dessert Lounge and Coché Valley hold the next two places. Seattle Met shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with The Infatuation next.

  1. Rank 2. Chè Dessert Lounge

    Filipino Dessert

  2. The bingsu at this Capitol Hill sweet shop arrives on an unlit portable burner, which is more of a theatrical prop than anything functional, and you will make a mess. Each composed dessert stacks fresh fruit, cheesecake or brownie chunks, and a scoop of ice cream over milk shaved into long, coconut-like flakes. A sidecar of condensed milk covers for the housemade fruit sauce, which runs out of momentum before it reaches the bottom.

  3. Rank 2. LUMI Dessert Cafe

    Korean Dessert

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
