Rank 1. Clover Grill
Grills
Jean-François Piège's fire-led restaurant in the 1st arrondissement turns a charcoal grill and open flame into something that feels almost philosophical. This is a steak restaurant with a distinctly French sense of discipline: serious sourcing, careful ageing, and beef that arrives composed rather than showy. Warm materials and soft light keep the room feeling polished but alive. Pommes soufflées on the side, a smart Burgundy on the table, and service that is Parisian in the good sense.

Rank 2. Anahi
Argentine Steakhouse
The mosaic floors and mirrored ceilings are original to the former butcher's shop, which is a good start for an Argentine steakhouse in the Marais. Mauro Colagreco and his partner in beef bring cuts from four continents through a high-heat broiler, and chimichurri arrives like it means it. The room runs on Latin warmth and Parisian cool in roughly equal measure, and the Malbec list keeps pace. It holds a spot on the World's Best Steak Restaurants list.
