The cuts are sourced with real care, the charcoal grill does the talking, and the kitchen keeps things clean rather than clever. The room is warm and polished without feeling stiff, the kind of place where you'll find couples on nice dates and people who actually know their Burgundy. The pommes soufflées are not to be skipped.

    Argentine Steakhouse

    An Argentine steakhouse tucked into a former butcher's shop in the Marais, Anahi has been around forever and somehow only gets cooler. Mauro Colagreco is behind it now, and the beef, sourced from four continents and cooked over a high-heat broiler, is treated with real seriousness. The room, all mosaic floors and mirrored ceilings, draws a crowd that's stylish without trying too hard. The chimichurri and the Malbec help everyone relax.
