The Best Steakhouses in Las Vegas, by the Record

The best steakhouses in Las Vegas, by the professional record: AAA, Forbes Travel Guide, and Eater have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. CUT by Wolfgang Puck comes out on top.

SW Steakhouse and Craftsteak hold the next two places. AAA and Forbes Travel Guide show up on more of this list than any other guide.

  1. Rank 1. CUT by Wolfgang Puck

    Modern Steakhouse

  2. Rank 1. SW Steakhouse

    Steakhouse

  3. Rank 3. Craftsteak

    Steakhouse

  4. The dining room at this steakhouse inside Park MGM keeps going longer than you expect, opening into smaller rooms hung with vintage art in a way that feels more Belle Époque supper club than casino corridor. Dry-aged bone-in ribeye is the main event, but the sides pull their weight and the mile-high carrot cake arrives looking like a dare. A proper old-school steakhouse, dark and comfortable, with prices to match.

  5. Vintage Vegas glamour gets a quiet update at this steakhouse inside the Circa Resort, where the chef behind Scotch 80 Prime brings a recognizable hand to the Downtown corridor. The menu runs classic prime cuts but keeps slipping in detours: lobster and shrimp potstickers, short rib with harissa, tater tots finished with poutine gravy. The crowd skews loyal, the kind who followed the chef here from his last room and haven't opened the menu in months.

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
