Kihei has exactly one place on the list so far: Kilolani Spa at Grand Wailea, honored by Vogue.
-
The spa at Grand Wailea takes its name from ancient Hawaiian stargazers, and the reference is not decorative. Kilolani's treatment menu shifts every ten days to follow the lunar cycle, folding in native botanicals and indigenous healing practices that change with the moon's path. Vogue named it among the 100 best spas in the world. At 50,000 square feet, it's a serious commitment, which suits Wailea's crowd perfectly.
