Rank 1. Restaurant Guy Savoy
French
Its own valet entrance off the Augustus Tower means you never have to walk through a casino to get here, which tells you something about how seriously this French fine dining room takes itself. Guy Savoy holds a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamonds, and the tasting menu reads like a greatest-hits of the Paris original: artichoke and black truffle soup, seared foie gras, oyster. Romantic, modern, not remotely stuffy.

Rank 2. Le Cirque
French
Satin drapes the ceiling in tent-like folds while the Bellagio fountains do their thing just beyond the window, which is either very Las Vegas or very perfect, depending on your mood. Le Cirque is classic French fine dining, the kind where tasting menus arrive in careful courses and the room does half the work. It holds both a Forbes Five Star and an AAA Five Diamond, a combination that keeps the service on its toes.

Rank 3. Michael Mina
Seafood
An open kitchen anchors this seafood-focused fine dining room inside the Bellagio, where soft beige walls and light wood paneling keep things calm enough that the food can do the talking. Michael Mina's tasting menu pulls Japanese and broader Asian influences through the catch, ponzu and miso showing up often. Service is polished in the way that Vegas fine dining does best, which is to say attentively and without making you feel watched.

This is a French fine dining room on the 11th floor of a half-size Eiffel Tower, which means you eat duck confit while the Bellagio fountains do their thing below. Window tables face The Strip, and the staff has seen enough dessert proposals that a ring on a plate barely registers as news. Dress like you're being photographed, because you will be. AAA gives it Four Diamonds, and the bar handles the cheaper, quicker version.

Rank 4. PRIME Steakhouse
Steakhouse
This is a Jean-Georges steakhouse at the Bellagio, and it looks more like a jeweler's showroom than a place to eat a cow, with velvet, crystal chandeliers, and a jewel-tone palette. Tables face the fountains, so the water show has a better seat than most people you know. The menu pairs Japanese and American beef with steakhouse classics, and the room fills with expense accounts and decanters of big red.

Six named villas tucked inside Caesars Palace's Octavius Tower, each running around 10,000 square feet and each with its own aquarium, because a marble soaking tub and a private home theater are apparently just table stakes. This Forbes Four Star enclave is a suite hotel for people who find regular suites a little cramped, with a double-sided fireplace, a dining table for twelve, and Roman emperor branding taken completely seriously.

Rank 7. Jasmine
Chinese
The sink has a ruffled curtain skirt, which tells you everything about how seriously Jasmine takes its room. This fine dining Chinese restaurant at the Bellagio overlooks the fountain show through floor-to-ceiling windows, while inside, chandeliers hang over deep reds and gold-tinted flatware on floral plates. The menu moves across Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hunan traditions, and the Peking duck is carved tableside with the full ceremony that implies.

Rank 7. Nobu
Nikkei
This is the Caesars Palace Nobu, the biggest of the three on the Strip, a dim, stylish Nikkei dining room where lychee martinis and miso black cod are the opening move. Sequins and big watches fill the tables before a show at the Colosseum across the casino floor. Walk-ins sometimes score a bar seat, but plan on reserving a couple of weeks ahead.

Rank 9. Carbone Riviera
Seafood
The dirty martini here landed on Esquire's list of the finest in the country, which tracks: the bar occupies the old Picasso space at the Bellagio, with the fountains putting on their show just outside. It's the cocktail outpost of the Carbone empire, so the room skews dressed-up and the pours skew generous. Order the martini, watch the water, and feel no obligation to explain yourself.

Rank 9. Peter Luger Steak House
Steakhouse
This is the Vegas outpost of the Brooklyn steakhouse that built a reputation on dry-aged porterhouse and a famously brusque dining room. Expect a pricey, old-school meat house with the kind of check that makes the sizzling platter feel like a down payment. Lunch has a quieter trick: a burger served only a few hours, Wednesday through Sunday, made from chuck and scraps of the dry-aged loin, and nearly $30 once fries show up.

To get into this speakeasy cocktail bar inside the Horseshoe, you pick up a phone, answer a riddle, and crawl through an entrance. The bar itself looks like a haunted Victorian study, shelves packed with odd artifacts and enough atmosphere to make you forget you're technically in a casino basement. Cocktails run strong and strange, and there's a dedicated mixology classroom if you want to learn why your drink tastes like that.

Popovers instead of dinner rolls set the tone at this 70s New York-themed steakhouse inside the Venetian, where Spiegelworld (the circus people) have conjured a mythologized city-after-dark that lands closer to lived-in than costume party. Burnt orange booths, paisley-clad servers, and decade-specific memorabilia do the heavy lifting, while the kitchen goes au poivre on the burger and foie gras on the bread basket.

A pile of king crab legs on crushed ice is usually the first thing you see, and it sets the tone. Bacchanal, inside Caesars Palace, is a massive all-you-can-eat buffet running brunch through dinner with over 250 items across ten kitchens. The strategic move is to lap the room before committing a plate to anything. Shellfish, wood-fired grill, rotating global stations, and a dessert spread that suggests nobody told anyone to stop.

Giada De Laurentiis's Strip restaurant is a sit-down Italian spot with California sunshine in its bones, the sort of place where the menu prints pronunciation guides so nobody has to fake-confidence their way through the bucatini. Servers pour Prosecco with Food Network energy, the lemon spaghetti arrives in a tidy tower, and it holds a AAA Three Diamond rating. Dinner here, then Lil Wayne upstairs.

Rank 15. Caspian's Rock & Roe
Seafood
A compact caviar and seafood bar just off the Caesars Palace casino floor, where Pringles arrive with caviar French onion dip and nobody blinks. The real trick is a life-sized portrait of a sailing captain that swings open onto a purple-and-turquoise room with a stage, hosting yacht rock nights and karaoke. Expect smoked Old Fashioneds, espresso martinis, and strangers committing to "I Will Always Love You."

Rank 16. The Vault
Cocktail Bar
The Vault is a cocktail bar tucked behind a gilded door inside the Bellagio, occupying what used to be the casino's actual cage, which gives the whole room a pleasantly loaded history. A chandelier does most of the atmospheric heavy lifting. The drink list leans into vintage spirits and old recipes, so if you're not sure what you want, describe an era and let them run with it.

Farm-to-table inside the Bellagio, with the kitchen glassed in so you can watch the cooks while the casino hum fades behind you. It's a sit-down American dinner spot, more relaxed than the resort's splashier restaurants, with a sommelier on the floor and vegan and tasting menus available for those whose dining companions make things complicated. The room earns its calm without trying too hard.

Cocktail Bar
A five-foot resin Pomeranian sets the tone for this dark, moody cocktail lounge inside the Vanderpump Hotel on the Strip. Lisa Vanderpump's Las Vegas footprint runs to black-and-red decor, a martini for two arriving on a skewer of a dozen-odd olives, and a cocktail that comes with caviar. The house gimmick of sealing a secret into a tiny envelope and locking it in a vault is either charming or deeply on-brand, depending on your relationship with reality television.

A 3,400-square-foot shrine to Sanrio characters in the Forum Shops, where illuminated pink facades and neon signage set the tone before you've ordered anything. The cafe runs taiyaki filled with ube, strawberry-mochi soft serve, and character-coded pastries, plus an afternoon tea service the Vegas location holds as an exclusive. The crowd skews enthusiastic in ways that are hard to overstate.

This is a concession stand parked outside the Absinthe circus tent, which sets the bar for fare somewhere around nachos in a plastic boat. Instead it sells a smash burger on a soft pretzel bun, with two beef patties, charred onions, and thick pickles, plus star-shaped tots. Order the caviar tots if you're feeling flush, or eat standing up among the hedges like a person who just wandered out of a show.

Bottled Blonde is a three-story rooftop bar and kitchen on the Strip, with more than 40 televisions and a view of the Bellagio fountains, so you can watch the game and the water at the same time. Weekend brunch runs 11 to 3, with bottomless mimosas, spicy bloody marys, and fried chicken and waffles for the hours when a salad would be a bold choice. Eater has it on its list of Las Vegas brunches.

This is a Guy Fieri sports bar at Caesars Palace, which means flame-adorned everything and a name that commits fully to the bit. The bottomless brunch is the sleeper move on the Strip, with banana custard French toast, brisket mac and cheese, and biscuits and gravy refilled on request. It costs less than most Vegas cocktails, and The Infatuation put it on its list of the best cheap eats in town.

Buddy Valastro, the Cake Boss himself, turned his Jersey deli upbringing into a sandwich counter on the Strip, where the mozzarella is made in house and every sandwich arrives on toasted ciabatta with your choice of sweet or hot peppers. It's casual and counter-service, the kind of stop where you can wear the same shirt you wore on the plane. Eater has put its sandwiches on a best-of list.

This is a red-sauce Italian joint a block off the Strip, with celebrity headshots, old records, and a wedding's worth of chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling. The kitsch is not subtle, and it suits big, loud group dinners where nobody checks the menu prices. Entrees come in under $50 and include unlimited house red and white, which is the real plot of the evening. Plan on leftovers and a lively walk back.

This is the Gordon Ramsay reality-show restaurant on the Strip, where a hologram of the man himself greets you at the door. Past it, a cavernous dining room puts pitchforks on everything that can hold one, including the ice cubes. Expect a crowd of hungry people at the entrance and a three-course prix fixe that runs well over a hundred dollars a head. Skeptics and superfans tend to end up equally entertained.
