Philippe Starck designed this boutique hotel in the Marais, and his mood here runs toward 1920s glamour, with artwork throughout by his daughter Ara. Rooms are properly luxurious, and in-room spa treatments by Codage mean you never have to leave, though the surrounding neighborhood gives you every reason to. Breakfast, a café, and a cocktail bar cover the basics; dinner is the Marais's problem to solve, which it does without much effort.
