Carla Kirsch trained at the Paul Bocuse Institute and did time at Troisgros before opening this colorful Mexican restaurant in the Croix-Rousse district. Old rafters run overhead, splashed with color, and the menu shifts every month, drawing on seasonal French ingredients filtered through the cooking of her native Veracruz. Chili peppers turn up in the dessert, which tells you something about her sense of humor. Mexican wines, tequilas, and mezcals round out the drinks list.
