    Dark wood panelling and custom-made local crockery set the tone at this hotel dining room in the heart of Bremen's old town. The menu runs classic German comfort, schnitzel included, alongside more contemporary plates. In good weather the courtyard garden is the place to be; in winter, an Alpine-style hut appears instead, which is either charming or audacious depending on your mood. The Rathaus and the Weser are both a short walk away.
