    A chef from France's southwest who fell hard for the Alps runs this modern restaurant tucked into Annecy's old town, where whitewashed walls, wood, and stone set a quietly handsome stage. The cooking shuttles between Savoie and the regions he grew up around, landing somewhere unexpected: duck with Abondance cheese, chocolate with piquillo pepper. The Michelin Guide has given it a Bib Gourmand, which tracks.
