Each of the 50 rooms at this Mitte hotel was designed by a different artist, so you might sleep inside a three-dimensional reimagining of Carl Spitzweg's The Poor Poet or a tribute to Edward Hopper. The lobby holds sculptures and installations alongside a bookstore focused on Berlin art and architecture. The concept refreshes regularly, keeping the work from going stale. Some rooms share bathrooms, which is either charming or not, depending on your relationship with strangers.
