Works by Gastón Ugalde, the so-called "Andean Warhol," cover the walls of this design-forward luxury hotel in La Paz's Calacoto neighborhood. The restaurant works local Bolivian ingredients into a fine-dining register, while the top-floor bar has panoramic views through towering double-height windows. It draws an even split of international business travelers and altitude-acclimatizing adventurers, and seems equally comfortable with both.
