This snug modern French bistro in the 9th is the project of two alumni from some of Paris's most demanding kitchens, one on savory, one on pastry, splitting the labor the way it should be done. The Bib Gourmand signals that the cooking punches well above the price, which in this neighborhood stays refreshingly sane.
