Bar Trafalgar is a modern Madrid tavern in Chamberí that managed to absorb the soul of the old-school places without the taxidermy. Draft beer and classic cocktails anchor the menu. Smoked butter and anchovy toasts do a lot of convincing at the bar, where the view of the after-work crowd makes the seat worth claiming early.
