A pool bar on the fifth floor of the Mandarin Oriental that somehow frames a cleaner view of Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer than most rooftops twice the height. The stepped layout catches a breeze even when the city is at its most suffocating, and the cabanas, daybeds, and angular umbrellas lean closer to Miami than Singapore, which the crowd seems not to have fully noticed yet.
