Two restored Georgian townhouses on Sloane Street, dressed up in interwar glamour and, unexpectedly, Japanese art, a combination that sounds like a dare and reads as a personality. The 14 rooms lean intimate rather than grand, with Nicola Harding's color palette doing most of the heavy lifting. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Key. Cadogan Place Gardens sit across the street, which is a very civilized thing to wake up to.
