    The menu changes daily, chalked up fresh, though escargots and steak tartare have a way of always being there when you need them. Henry Harris runs this upstairs French bistro above a Clerkenwell pub as a love letter to Lyon and Paris, done without fanfare or a PR budget, which somehow makes it feel more French. It took the National Restaurant of the Year prize in 2026. Vegetarians will find it a struggle; everyone else will find it hard to leave.
