Terence Conran converted a Victorian warehouse into this boutique hotel, and the math is deliberately skewed: seventeen rooms and suites to three restaurants, including a rooftop grill open year-round. Rooms run from Bauhaus to Shaker to mod-British, and they're generous by London standards, with underfloor heating fed by a subterranean aquifer beneath the building. Shoreditch galleries and bars are on the doorstep for guests who eventually leave.
