A converted shipping container fitted out in chipboard and plywood, BOX-E seats maybe a dozen people inside, though a terrace nearly triples that when Bristol's weather cooperates. It's a small Modern British restaurant run by a husband-and-wife team, one cooking bold, generous plates, one steering the room and the wine list. A Michelin Bib Gourmand, it punches well above its square footage.
