Philippe Starck took a former postal sorting facility in the 16th and filled it with glossy wood paneling, leather, and mirrors until it became its own species of 1970s glamour. The hotel holds a Michelin Key. Marble basins and soaking tubs keep the rooms from tipping into pranks, while suites get terraces facing the Eiffel Tower. Below ground: a 22-meter pool and a massive hot tub. On the roof: a kitchen garden raising actual chickens for the restaurant.
