1. The sandwiches here look so good you'll wonder if the whole thing is just a content farm with a bread permit. It isn't. This tiny Japanese-influenced sandwich shop on Clement does egg salad on fluffy shokupan that's genuinely luxurious, and a solid chicken katsu if you need something more substantial. No seating, just a window ledge built for the inevitable photo. The crowd knows exactly what they came for.
