A Japanese cocktail bar split across two floors of a Kowloon office building that is, for reasons no one fully explains, almost entirely occupied by Japanese businesses. Light wood and leather keep things low-key on the fifth floor, where the classics menu does most of the work. One floor up, the whisky bar runs deep and eclectic. The lift connecting them is the building's only one, so factor that into your pace.
