    A Forbes Five Star hotel inside the Galaxy Macau resort, where check-in doubles as a cultural orientation: a staff member called a "Culturist" leads guests through a baijiu welcome ritual before pointing them toward 650 rare whiskies at the equestrian-themed Pony & Plume bar. An LED forest in the lobby shifts with the time of day, which is either mesmerizing or a lot, depending on your jet lag. Capella Macau keeps the scale intimate for a 17-story tower.
