    The terrace here hangs over the River Aare in the shade of old trees, which is a strong opening move for a brasserie lunch. Inside, the room occupies a grand cultural hall in Berne's Old Town, all high ceilings and historic bones softened by bistro ease. The menu runs modern French with Italian leanings, a set menu in regular and vegetarian forms, plus à la carte and large cuts of meat meant for sharing between two.
