Chakaiseki Akiyoshi
Japanese
Sixteen seats behind a plain wooden door in the 15th, this intimate Japanese restaurant holds a Michelin star for its kaiseki menus built around the traditional tea ceremony. The chef prepares each course in view of the room, his wife serving in kimono, and the spare interior is modeled on an authentic tea house. The kind of place that makes you remember how to sit still.
