A seven-suite boutique hotel inside a Seventies Brutalist landmark in Santa Teresa, where the concrete turns out to be warm, colorful, and draped in richly figured Brazilian hardwood. Each suite is named for a musician named George, from Harrison to Seu Jorge, and furnished with pieces by Brazilian modernist Ricardo Fasanello alongside things the owners picked up in Paris and Ghent. The rooftop terrace looks out over Rio, and the vaulted concrete pergola by the pool earns its keep.
